1)-- 3 kids (ages 13, 11, 6), close relationship as their mother
2)-- all 3 of my kids play video games
3)-- I buy some guys, they save money and buy some themselves
4)-- yes, I check to see the ratings and reasons why
5)-- my teen and tween play teen rated games
6)-- I haven't seen any negative affects. Actually, I see them helping each other and playing together more
7)-- The only way they act differently is that they had fun and usually want to do something more physical after playing (if it is a sit-down game rather than one like DDR or Wii)
8)-- My older kids occasionally play violent games with parental supervision
9)-- World of Warcraft is a popular one. Most Wii games are popular with all 3 of them
10)-- My kids love it when I join in with them. They treat me with respect yet with friendship as well
11)-- My kids all have close friends and are respectful and thoughtful. Gaming has taught them taking turns, sharing and teaching with patience
12)-- Gaming has actually brought the kids closer to each other as they play together. In fact, the whole family play the games together.
